Hydrogen sulfide and methane in the sewer networks (review)

Summary

International experience of using methods of protecting from hydrogen sulfide and methane generation in sewer networks is presented. The efficiency of using reagent methods and their cost depend to a great extent on the parameters of sewer pipelines and wastewater composition. Therefore in order to make a reliable choice of one or another method one should take into consideration the local conditions and carry out relevant tests.
