Earthquake Resistance of Outer Utilities on the Basis of Polytron-ProКan Pipelines

Summary

Results of experimental tests on a shake table with a view to evaluate the earthquake resistance of pipelines of various diameters used as outer utilities are presented. By results of dynamic tests the behaviour of the pipeline made of polypropylene pipes with a two-layer profiled wall of Polytron-ProКan brand has been established at resonance and also over the frequency-amplitude range of 7–9 points.
