Methodic procedures of hydraulic designing plumbing systems in tenement buildings

Summary

Changes in the current water and wastewater regulatory legislation establishing unambiguous requirements to the development of methodic procedures are considered. The guidelines on creating methodic procedures that being implemented will ensure the legitimacy of the methods are given. It is shown that using utility facilities of the entire apartment as a primary element and introducing two new concepts, i. e. master service connection and maximum momentary flow, allowed developing advanced methods of determining design flows and required water head for the master service connection.

Regulatory requirements and their practical implementation in the process of calculating water supply systems for apartment buildings

Summary

The article is devoted to the analysis of the amendments to the requirements in legal documents and their practical implementation in the codes of practice in relation to the hydraulic calculation of the inhouse water supply systems of apartment buildings. An overview of the main amendments to the legal documents regarding the functional affiliation of inhouse water supply systems and their maintenance in apartment buildings is given. There is a functional-targeted insufficiency of the methodology and the lack in the current federal-level regulatory and technical documents of the methods for hydraulic calculation of water supply systems for apartment buildings that provide for their design characteristics complying with the mandatory requirements of the federal laws «On Technical Regulation», «Urban Development Code of the Russian Federation» and «Technical Regulations on Safety of Buildings and Structures». Technological approaches are considered in the regulation of water consumption in the water supply systems of apartment buildings. Recommendations are presented on the development of methodological procedures, that being applied will ensure the legal legitimacy of the methods for hydraulic calculation of centralized cold and hot water supply systems in apartment buildings.

On the causes of the problems occurring during the operation of water supply systems in apartment buildings

Summary

The paper considers the topical issues of estimating the compliance of the regulatory and technical framework that defines the basic requirements to water supply systems of apartment buildings with the technical regulations. The technical and legal factors effecting the occurrence of problems in the operation of water supply systems in apartment buildings are discussed; and an analysis of the causes of these problems is provided. The sufficiency of the existing methodological support for ensuring the safe operation of water supply systems in apartment buildings to be implemented at the system designing stage, is confirmed. Recommendations are provided to ensure legitimate design solutions considering the legislative vacuum in the regulatory and technical documents at the federal level. To eliminate the existing legislative vacuum in terms of determining the parameters of water supply systems for apartment buildings while designing, it is necessary to use not only the recommendations of regulatory and technical documents at the federal level, but also the company standards.

On improving Code of Rules (CR) 30.13330.2016 «Water supply and drains of buildings. Revised edition of SNiP 2.04.01-85*» (for the discussion)

Summary

The article is explaining the amendments to Code of Rules (CR) 30.13330.2016 «Water supply and drains of buildings. Revised edition of SNiP 2.04.01-85*». The results of the analysis of the interconnections of the system of technical regulation in construction business and the system of regulating the provision of public services are presented. In order to create a legitimate methodological toolkit, the experts of the Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture, Samara State Technical University developed amendments to CR 30.13330.2016 that will clarify the content of the regulatory document and specify certain elements of the design and calculation of the internal water supply systems of an apartment building. The methodology of designing drinking water supply systems for apartment buildings is considered. Methodological procedures and their practical implementation in the design of internal drinking water supply systems of an apartment building are given.
